Mila began her Real Estate career with Grubb & Ellis|Harrison & Bates in 2000, as an Administrative Assistant in Management Services where she was responsible for assisting Vice President of Management Services, Property Managers, Building Services Manager, Leasing Agents and Lease Administrators.  In this role, Mila learned how to generate proposals, management agreement to include strategic pricing, and  property takeover and turnover under the supervision of the Vice President.  She enhanced her learning with assisting the Property Managers on their portfolios in servicing the owners, tenants and vendors relationships. While working closely with the property managers and leasing agents, Mila learned the craft of understanding and drafting a lease document.   To bring full circle of property management she assisted the Building Services Manager that enhance her learning curve of building maintenance systems and controls,  and management of maintenance personnel.  In 2004, she was promoted to Management Services Coordinator and in 2007 she was promoted to Assistant Property Manager. In this role, Mila managed a commercial portfolio comprised of retail, office, condo association and industrial/warehouses.  In this role, she acted as a liaison between Owners and Tenants to resolve day to day issues, budgeting preparation and monitoring, financial reporting, vendor negotiations and contracts, manage capital improvements/projects and preventive/emergency services.

Mila is a graduate with a Bachelor of Science, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing degree from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University.  She attended Richmond Associations Realtors to obtain her real estate license in 2004.  Since obtaining her real estate license, she has taken courses from IREM Institute to qualify as a Candidate for Accredited Commercial Manager (ACoM) designation.
